Artist: Mr Brainwash
Artwork: A Sky Full of Promise
Medium: Silkscreen on paper
Edition: Limited edition of 95
Artwork Size: 58 × 58 cm
Hand Signed: Yes
Certificate of Authenticity: Included
A Sky Full of Promise forms part of Mr Brainwash's official collaboration with Disney, bringing his distinctive street-art language together with two of popular culture's most recognisable characters.
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse sit side by side on a bench overlooking the River Thames and Big Ben, sharing a quiet moment beneath the night sky. The otherwise serene London scene is disrupted by the bench itself, covered with Mr Brainwash's signature graffiti, words and colourful motifs.
The contrast between the romantic setting and the artist's energetic visual language gives the work its character, combining nostalgia, optimism and contemporary street culture.
Released as a limited edition of 95, the work is hand signed by Mr Brainwash and supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity.
